You can create shift lengths from 2 hours to 168 hours. In other words, in a 24-hour day, you can have up to 12 shifts - or you can have one shift for an entire week of 168 hours. Most 'typical' depots would use either 12-hour Am-Pm, 24-hour Daily, 72-hour Weekend, 108-hour Monday to Friday or 168 hours Weekly Lease. But experience has shown that there is no such thing as a 'typical' depot! For this reason, we made the shift set-up customisable.
The roster gives you total flexibility in that you can merge and split shifts that have already been created on the roster. The roster is automatically created in advance from the Roster Templates.
Roster Templates are created by you which describe how a week of 168 hours is split up into shifts. You can mix and match shifts types and fees in a template. You can also create multiple Template Groups which are attached to a roster template to give even more flexibility.
Each Template Group can have a manager’s contact number - this is the number that appears in the Driver Web Portal for the drivers to contact. You could have one contact for the Maxi fleet and a different contact for the Sedan fleet, for example.
