First Class Taxis - workshop depot version
Before we started using TaxiCab Manager, it would take one of our staff 6 hours each day to process the pay-ins for 35 cars. Using TaxiCab Manager, it takes the same staff person 3 hours to process the pay-ins for the 85 cars we now have in our fleet!!! I could add another 50 cars to the fleet and still not need any other staff. Since we manage all of our vehicles for absentee owners, the owners appreciate the fact that we give them a full list of all shifts their cars have done each month - coupled with a complete profit report on their vehicle.

Black & White Taxi Management - workshop depot version
The one thing that really impresses depot operators who come to our depot to see TaxiCab Manager in operation, is how few staff we need to run our fleet - which currently is at 81 cabs. We use TaxiCab Manager in our three hire-car businesses and they have made a huge difference in the ease of management of our diverse fleets.
Our Nelson Bay fleet incorporates vehicles from fleets at Newcastle (60km distant) and Kurri Kurri (70km distant). The ability for our manager at Kurri Kurri to enter her roster and pay-in information as a wide-area network and thus for all data to be consolidated at Nelson Bay has been incredibly helpful. We used to physically send our pay-ins from Kurri Kurri to Nelson Bay and then manually enter them into a spreadsheet, which caused all sorts of problems - delays, missing dockets etc. Now all information appears instantly at the Nelson Bay head office where we can get a variety of reports broken down to each fleet, or as a consolidated report.
The simple driver-entry terminals have saved a huge amount of time by reducing the workload on the administrative staff. Since the drivers are self-employed contractors they appreciate the fact that they are responsible for the entry of their own figures and thus make sure they get it right. While some had never used a computer before and were initially apprehensive about entering their figures into the computer, the simple pay-in screen and point-and-click interface soon allayed their fears and they are all quite happy to use the system. In particular, we find the driver fault entry to be helpful - drivers are more likely to enter faults in their vehicles when prompted to do so.
As we are a depot and submit accounts for jobs to our debtors, the ability to easily create personalised accounts using the job information which has been entered by our drivers has been another area of considerable time-saving. It is a simple matter to create invoices from driver job information and then to print these out.
The management of our fleets at First Class eCharters and Combined Limousines has been made much easier by the introduction of TaxiCab Manager. The creation of daily driver run-sheets has been made much simpler since using the system. Once a booking has been completed as a job, it is then automatically transferred to the pay-in module, where driver pay-in sheets can then be printed. Again, accounts are easily created and submitted to our debtors.
We have specialised requirements and all of our requirements have been integrated into the program by the programmer in a timely manner. We appreciate the level of friendly support that is offered by TaxiCab Manager. The New South Wales government recently introduced a system of re-imbursing drivers for wheelchair jobs which required specialised reports and programming changes - these were soon incorporated into the program.
